Stan McKenzie is a Stanford-educated Physician’s Assistant focused on geriatric wellness and long-term care.
Stan started A Change is Afoot Senior Housing when he realized the need for medical-trained professionals to place seniors in the most appropriate environment for their medical conditions. Stan has hired additional staff to assist him because of the unique, free service A Change if Afoot offers its clients.
Stan has been an adjunct at the University of Washington, and is currently active in many philanthropic organizations to include the American Red Cross and Alzheimer’s Association. He is the Past-President of the Washington Senior Care Coalition, and current President of the Lynnwood Rotary Club.
“Our exclusive focus at A Change is Afoot is the long-term quality of life for seniors. The value of having a trained medical professional to facilitate placement is extraordinary. We have a track record of success, a network of thousands of care facilities, and our service is completely free for families. I’ve done a lot of amazing things in my life, but there is nothing that I am prouder of than the everyday work that we do to place seniors in the best possible living situation.” – Stan
